Job Description:
Duties This position will supervise the work of staff engaged in
preparing budget projections, spending plans, processing
billing/payments, performing audits, and other budget formulation
and execution related duties.The duties and responsibilities of
this position include:Developing and recommending milestones,
objectives, and plans to achieve the agency's long and short-range
priorities.Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of the agency
in meeting established goals, objectives and performance measures
in relation to budgetary requirements.Preparing a variety of
regular and special reports and presentation materials covering the
status of funds, expenses, and obligations.Assuring compliance with
departmental/ division procedures and quality assurance
reviews.Providing direction and guidance to a staff of auditors and
administrative personnel in conducting budget related

QualificationsApplicants must demonstrate that they meet the
Specialized Experience requirement as noted below.GS-14 Specialized
Experience: You must possess at least one year of specialized
experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-13
level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or
private sectors) performing (3) of the (4) duties listed
below:Performing budget development, formulation, and execution
functions for a program/organization.Analyzing the effectiveness of
a program/organization in meeting established goals and objectives,
and performance measures in relation to budgetary
requirements.Collaborating in the preparation of reports and
presentation materials covering the status of funds, expenses, and
obligations.Mentoring staff on work and administrative
