Position Summary:
The Procurement Analyst is responsible for acquiring materials,
supplies, equipment, and services in connection with the delivery
of services supporting clinical trials. Additional procurement
activities include but are not limited to: (i) tracking the vendor
request for proposal (RFP) lifecycle; (ii) negotiating preferential
pricing; (iii) vendor contracting; and (iv) performing other
commercial and transactional activities.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
--- Adhering to procurement strategies that align with the
company's objectives.
--- Managing the solicitation process, including
reviewing/comparing specifications and costs and where appropriate
supporting negotiation with vendors to reduce costs.
--- Negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure the
best possible prices and agreements.
--- Delivering value and competitive advantage measured by cost
reduction and cost avoidance, vendor-enabled innovation, and risk
mitigation.
--- Ensuring compliance in purchasing process, especially in vendor
selection and bidding.
Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
--- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting,
economics or related field required.
--- Minimum of two years of work experience in life science
procurement and outsourcing.
Other Required:
--- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
--- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word,
etc.).
--- Knowledge of purchasing policies, processes, and
procedures.
--- Knowledge and ability to negotiate best vendor terms and
pricing.
Preferred:
--- Experience with clinical trial procurement and contract
research organization operations.
Skills:
--- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
--- Excellent analytical skills.
--- Capability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic
environments.
--- Attention to detail and a commitment to achieving operational
efficiency.

--- Possesses strong organizational/written communication skills

Precision is required by law in some states or cities to include a
reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This
compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors
that are considered in making compensation decisions including but
not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and
certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The
disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable
geographic differential associated with the location at which the
position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an
individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their
role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and
circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a
discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings
benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave,
and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other
benefits.
Reasonable estimate of the current range
$69,500 - $94,200 USD
