Qualifications ASSESSMENT FACTORS 1. Provides sound advice to and supports operational elements on acquisition, contracting, and procurement matters.
2. Engage in contract requirement development within the planning process.
3. Execute contract oversight to ensure contracts deliver capabilities in accordance with terms, conditions, and deliverables to meet mission requirements.
4. Establish a systematic process to review contract terms, conditions, and deliverables to ensure contract compliance.
5. Produces cogent, comprehensive, and effective contracting documents in support of each acquisition strategy. HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS 1. Lead small groups and gains approval for finance and acquisition or strategy, engagement and evaluation recommended courses of action that improve quality and execution of assigned tasks to increase customer and client satisfaction.
2. Plan, organizes, prioritizes, and schedules own work activities to complete assignments in timely and effective manner. This position is considered an Acquisition Workforce (AWF) position under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Accordingly, the position's occupant must be certified with the appropriate DAWIA certification based on mission requirements for the position. If the selectee does not currently possess the required DAWIA certification upon entry into the position, selectee will be given 36 months to achieve certification. This position requires DAWIA Contracting Professional Certification.
