Job Description:

Credentialing Specialist -Spine and Pain

Maryland, VA or Washington DC

Pay From: $24 Per Hour

MUST:

3+years of credentialing at healthcare facilities-privileging experience

Experienced credentialing providers for ASC's

Handling provider enrollments for commercial insurances as well as Medicare

Experienced with CAQH, NDBP, PECOS, license verification, and credentialing software

Experienced with credentialing, and licensing requirements for physicians as well as NP's/PA's

Experience with Medicare enrollment procedures

DUTIES:

The duties of the Credentialing Coordinator include but are not limited to the following:

Compile and maintain data for providers

Completes credentialing and re-credentialing applications

Maintains current state license, DEA certificates, malpractice coverage and any other credentialing documents

Set up and maintains provider information in credentialing databases and system

Track license and certification expirations to ensure timely renewals

Ensure practice addresses are current with health plans, agencies, and other entities.

Process applications for privileges at ambulatory surgical sites
