JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Customer Experience Designer
Status: Full-Time Hourly (4hours)
Location: Washington, DC
Hours: 5 days per week, from 8am-5pm (1-hour lunch)

  • Pharmacy Discount Card ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Conceptualize, design and develop the pathway into a user's experience. Direct teams on best user experience practices by setting out guidelines for use throughout the development phase. Provide relevant insight into human behavior in order to shape customer experience. Articulate highly data driven decisions, and serve as a champion of user experience work with designers. Support the development of strategy to bring the vision of an integrated customer experience together. Define customer experience journeys. Engage in customer studies and surveys. Define, evaluate, and quantify the feasibility of customer experience projects. Describe the solutions in design documents (wire frames, functional specifications, storyboards, etc.) that will guide production. Improve existing testing methodologies while incorporating Client techniques to improve best practices. Requires BS/BA degree or formal training in design, related industry certifications, approximately 6 years of experience in a related field.
    • Skill in greeting and interacting with people in a courteous and tactful manner.
    • Skill in operating computers and printers to produce a wide range of documents.
    • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Friendly and personable with excellent telephone etiquette. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
      • This position routinely utilizes standard office equipment such as laptops, computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets, in a home office as well as an in-person office environment.
      • Ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds
      • This position is generally performed in a professional office setting; 70% sitting, 20% standing, and 10% walking.
