Job Title: OR Tech / Surgical Tech Job Specialty: Surgical Services Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30); Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active MD or Compact License required at time of submission Certifications: Not specified. Flu Vaccine required - No Exemptions. Must-Have: Strong trauma, vascular, and neuro skillset Job Description: - Work in the surgical area with a focus on shock trauma - Engage in a rotating schedule of 8-hour or 10-hour shifts - Utilize the Epic documentation system for patient records - May be required to float within the hospital; must be flexible and comfortable with this - Scrubs provided for work - Weekend availability may be required - Responsible for maintaining high levels of patient care and supporting surgical teams - Ensure all compliance tasks are completed by the specified deadline - Must provide two satisfactory professional references from recent employers - Adhere to the return policy for previous travelers or staff members Note: COVID-19 Vaccine is not required, but a Flu Vaccine is mandatory with no exemptions allowed. Candidates must have a permanent residence over 50 miles from the hospital.
