Job Summary
-
The Registered Nurse, operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. -Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology. -

Qualifications:
-

• 
  
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  
• Currently licensed in the state. CPR required, advanced life support certification required.
  
• One year experience required intra-operative setting.
  
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
  
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    
  • Currently licensed in the state
    
  • Current BLS, ACLS and PALS
    
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in PACU or ICU

            • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
              
            • Current license to practice nursing in the state.
              
            • CPR certified. ACLS certification is required within 6 months of employment if not currently certified.

              • Critical Care or PACU experience preferred.

                • Outpatient Surgery
                  
                • Physical demands (i.e. works on a computer, use of telephone, lifts up to 50 lbs.)
                  
                • Works on computer, uses telephone.
                  
                • Intermittent physical mobility/activity including walking, standing, sitting. Light lifting, pulling and pushing of carts, equipment, etc., Must be able to bend body downward at the waist, be able to kneel.
