Job Summary
You will serve as GG-0132-14 Intelligence Specialist at the Nimitz Warfare Analysis Center in Suitland, MD. As a Senior Intelligence Analyst (SIA) for the China Surface Operations Division, the Analytic Modernization Division, or the Russian Naval Strategy and Operations Division, you will provide mentorship and technical expertise on highly complex analysis, evaluation, collection, interpretation, or dissemination of information and/or products relative to assigned intelligence portfolios.
Major Duties

• 
  
• You will analyze, evaluate, and integrate complex data from multiple sources to assess the relevance and significance of developments in your assigned area(s).
  
• You will plan and coordinate intelligence activities, resolve conflicts, and interpret existing policy to make technical or operational decisions necessary to process all-source materials and produce innovative analyses in your assigned area(s).
  
• You will identify critical intelligence gaps, specify collection requirements to fill gaps, provide new methodologies and techniques to eliminate gaps, and evaluate intelligence collected in response to collection requirements.
  
• You will apply new theories, developments, or procedures to intelligence problems not solved by application of standard guidelines and policies.
  
• You will maintain liaison with high-level intelligence professionals at other intelligence agencies and allied countries in order to provide or obtain information on non-routine problems.
  
• You will participate as a representative of the organization on panels and committees with commitment authority in your assigned area(s).
