Often referred to as the 'Residence of Presidents', The Willard has welcomed U.S. presidents, foreign dignitaries and celebrities, as well as has been the site of many historic moments in U.S. history.About the Director of Spa Operations positionWe are looking for a new Director of Spa Operations to take ownership of delivering exceptional first impressions and rejuvenating experiences - managing everything from reservations and manicures to esthetician and massage services.A little taste of your day-to-day

• Engaging with guests to build personal relationships and remedy any complaints
• Conducting regular inspections to ensure we're making the right first impression
• Recruiting, interviewing, selecting and training all spa positions and ensuring proper certifications
• Creating a team of service providers to meet all aspects of professionalism and service demands
• Ensuring that an effective marketing and public relations strategy is developed in conjunction with the hotel marketing team and implemented in a timely manner
• Implementing and monitoring all marketing strategies and promotions
• Promoting a spa services group menu to appropriate conference business
• Identifying opportunities to promote the spa, including ongoing social media postings and activations
• Managing social media presence, responding to feedback in a timely and professional manner
• Achieving sales and profit plan through maximizing revenue and monitoring expenses
• Developing and ensuring the successful implementation of a retail sales plan
• Preparing budgets and finding new ways to drive revenue
• Ensuring that financial goals are attainedWhat we need from you
  • Advanced Vocational Training / Certification in Spa Management/ Business Administration
  • Social media posting knowledge & experience
  • 2 years of Spa/Guest Service experience including management experience

This is the lowest to highest pay scale we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. This rate is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Washington, DC.
