Intralox, L.L.C., a division of Laitram, L.L.C., and a global provider of conveyance solutions and services, has a position available for an Account Manager-Industrial Controls. In this role the qualified individual will be a part of the Intralox Baltimore (IBA) Supply Chain Team to play a hybrid role of manufacturing specialist and relationship manager. This position will be in the Hanover, MD office reporting to the Supply Chain Supervisor.The Account Manager-Industrial Controls must have familiarity with Industry standards with a variety of the field concepts, best practices, and procedures. Responsibilities:
* Discuss and comprehend technical topics on both electrical and mechanical components with both internal product development teams and external vendors. * Execute extensive review of all electrical components; from review selects primary, secondary, and tertiary electrical component options. Options will be inputted into IBA's Product Lifecyle Management software. * Thoroughly understand the electrical component supplier pool ensuring suppliers are positioned for success given IBA's supply demand. * Manage vendor relationships from qualification through development and continuous improvement. * Co-lead new product development amongst internal stakeholders and suppliers. * Coordinate supplier management tasks inclusive of working with suppliers and internal employees. * Build long-term relationships by providing value, opportunities for growth, customer acquisition, and brand-building for multiple vendors. * Increase vendor participation through deep knowledge of program opportunities. * Collaborate with Supply Chain and Supplier Quality teams to understand supplier performance compared to expectation.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in vendor or customer management. * Bachelor's Degree or higher in relevant field * Ability to understand and work from electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. * Must have a high technical aptitude. * Previous knowledge of commonly used controls engineering concepts, practices, and procedures. * Ability to understand manufacturer data sheets and apply them in practice. * Work with personnel at all levels of an organization. * Maintain poise and focus under time constraint pressures and the potential of long work hours. * Computer proficiency with demonstrated experience in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint). * Must be able to travel 30% of the year.
Desired Qualifications:
* Experience in Autodesk Software or equivalent. * Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management Software * Experience with root cause analysis practices

Intralox considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training and key skills. Therefore, we encourage all qualified applicants to apply regardless of their salary expectations.The position is eligible for one of the following: commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plansSalary Range $57,400 to $163,800.
